The exact words always used when discussing my project.
Those Goth, Industrial Germans really love their polka.
This is the most amazing thing I have see.
You know what’s fun? Stealing. Idea shamelessly lifted from Galerie Anatome’s “Petit Journal” on behalf of WSA’s Writers Society and my own lack of inspiration.

These women are heartless. The real reason they shouldn’t date him is because he’s short.

In this modern world of rampant consumerism and Orwellian states, design has lost its way. We are more and more reliant on gimmicky tricks and fads that hold no true substance, I propose a way out of this. Though my tireless work and personal sacrifice, I have come up with a series of rules and regulations that must be followed if we are ever to brake free of this oppressive system and think for our selves.
We are bombarded by information every second of every day that not only serves to misinform but also to blind people to anything useful they may come across. This is why we must move forward to Minimalism. The Minimalism movement was an artistic movement that had its foundation at the turn of the 19th century, and had many revolutionary aspects, such as the use of black and white as colours not tone. The whole idea was to remove as much of the work as possible from a piece of art without removing the art from the work. Minimalist Design must therefore be the removal of everything from the design except for the design.
You must use only 3 colours in a design, remembering that black and white are colours. Remove all unnecessary design elements; lines, headers, footers, colours, columns, rows, titles, sub headers, images and words should only be included if absolutely necessary. You must have a reason for everything you include in your designs, accept no mistakes or accidents. If a design does not conform to how it was originally planned out it is bad design. Always remember this maxim: Less is more, so use more. By which I mean less.
The world is a bad place; and design alone can change that. Everything you do as a designer must not only try to but needs to succeed at making the world a much better pace. If your type face doesn’t free at least three political prisoners it is not good type. Your grid much prevent illegal logging in South American rain forests or it will not provide decent structure. If your layout doesn’t stop a drought you must start again as you have failed at graphics, try making it more minimal.
Computers are easy to use, time efficient, adaptable, environmentally friendly, cost effective tools; shun their use at every available moment. Get back to traditional, more natural processes with photo’s soaked in heavy metals and print work with acrylic paints.
Be original and unique in everything you do. Do not be influenced by anything you see, be ignorant to not only to current trends and “cool” designs but also to past movement and designers; it is the only way to be sure that what you make you will have never seen before.
As a designer, it is most important that you be kind, rewind.
Let’s make him famous, guys.
Finally, a cause I can believe in whole-heartedly.
